Trainstop house

Annotation

Combining the needs of passengers and those of modern private housing escalated in a compact form, serving both purposes. The house is located near the village of Mokrosuky, on the plot of an old rail-guard house and train stop, which stand nearby on the railway running from the station Horažďovice předměstí (suburbs) to Domažlice. The house combines the needs of a family life, private housing and the need of public train transport. The train stop, as an arcade, became the main inspiration for the design of the house, and thanks to the apropriate position of the house, a pleasant arcade is created on both sides - for the family, and for the public.
