HOUSE FOR MY LIBRARY

The library was designated on the lake surface as a floating structure. The main idea was to offer its user an amiable sanctuary, which would provide a sense of certainty and safety in the beautiful Canadian nature. My original inspiration for the shape was an iceberg that gradually turned into a buoy. This has led to the final design in the shape of a crystal-like structure. I have also tried to connect design with my primary association of the book, namely minimalism. Minimalism forces us to think and imagine. Minimalism makes us complete the stories and contemplate the coherence.
