Theater on the Market Place

The Market Place is located in one of the oldes parts of Vršovice, but the houses, which stood there for more than two centuries have been demolished in 1970s and never rebuilt again. In that time many people got very interested in this place and even though there are other parks in close proximity the locals did not want to fall this place to the hands of the developers. This unofficial place has become a spot for many artistic happenings and installations, fleamarkets and even a fotball tounrnamets have taken place in here. I wanted to translate this unique atmosphere into my project and create a small theatre which also caters for outdoor activities.
