BoulderHut

The essential characteristic of the BoulderHut, which stands by Prokopské jezírko, is a monolithic concrete structure whose form is based on my fifth room assignment. It houses bouldering walls that are publicly accessible and covered, bringing a nice compromise between the benefits of an indoor and outdoor climbing experience. The vertical wall is beginner-friendly, and the overhanging section provides quality training for more experienced climbers. The building also includes a kiosk that provides refreshments, climbing equipment rental and access to a changing room with a shower, toilet and lockers where visitors can store their valuables. The BoulderHut provides a nice introduction to the climbing community for anyone, as well as a place to relax with a raspberry lemonade.
