Central Archive of Historical Buildings Research Surveys at the State Central Archive

Historical buildings research surveys (IRS) form a fundamental professional documentary material of cultural monuments. We suggest the continuation of the grant GA ER 103/97/0593 that constituted the basis of founding the archive HBRS regarding the positive evaluation from the specialist public, we intend to broaden the archive HBRS by newly made of HBRS.
Historical buildings research surveys are essential professional documentary materials of immovable historical cultural monuments. These surveys are unpublished reports analysing history, development, importance and intended future use of historical buildings. They analyse their history, structural development, their importance and principles of their future use. These consist of written part, drawings and pictures. These reports are for protected historical buildings fundamental materials, documenting, in detail, the state of the building at the time of the survey. They state the principles of further use of the historical building, acceptable from the point of view of future protection and use of historical buildings surveys was elaborated during 1997 - 2002. It was done by co-operation of specialised institutions and individuals. New individual reports of surveys are deposited in the State Central Archive. (www.shp.cvut.cz)
