PhDr. Miroslav Pavel, Ph.D.

Miroslav Pavel is a cultural anthropologist and architectural historian. He finished a master's and doctor´s degree at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University in Prague. In 2019 he received a doctorate at the Department of Theory and History of Architecture at Faculty of Architecture, CTU in Prague. Pavel specializes in the history of architecture of the 20th and 21st centuries and their overlaps. The architectural work of the Netherlands, Scandinavia and in developing areas occupy a special place in his research. He cooperates with the Kruh civil association - since 2013 as the dramaturgy of the nationwide Day of Architecture festival.
