COMPLETION OF A CITY BLOCK IN LANŠKROUN

In this master's thesis, I complete one side of an urban block in the town of Lanškroun. My proposal comprises educational facilities – specifically a library and a youth centre – and an apartment complex above a commercial ground floor. One underground car park serves the entire unit. The library and youth centre replace buildings which are currently not fit for purpose. The proximity of all components supports interaction between the educational facilities. The completed urban block improves the overall character of the town.
