BENEŠOV - HOUSING FOR ELDERLY

The topic of diploma project is a design of housing for elderly people in Benešov. The proposal reacts to contemporary and mainly future social situation and it aims to better urbanistic development of the city by completing present destroyed urban structure. Suggested design presents the project in different scales from renewal of the urban block to detailed drawings of the housing for elderly people but also family housing as a part of one courtyard. The aim of project is to develop wide spectre of social care for elderly people based on creating decent and full-fledged environment for this last period of human lives. The proposal should fallow the norms and offer appropriate services in a contrast to feeling of normality and home for its residents. The design reacts to context of surrounding development and tries to build up the image of small town to offer its residents the feeling of belonging to the community.
