STRAHOV - SPORTS AND RECREATION CENTRE FOR STUDENTS AND THE PUBLIC

This diploma thesis is concerned with both the Strahov Stadium as well as its surroundings. In the first part, it focuses on adjusting the urban context that later supports the main part of the project - conversion of the stadium. The project proposes sports programme for students and the public for recreational purposes as well as other uses such as cultural programme, commercial, restaurants, in other words a giant sports and cultural centre. It could be understood as an overall vision for the biggest brownfield in the very centre of Prague.
