The goal of this work is a design of a scythe and accessories with respect to the biomechanics of scything, ergonomics and manipulation with the tool. It aims to lowering the requirements for setting up the tool, easy manipulation and transport. The work deals with shaping the snath and its grips, and mostly with the tilting mechanism of the mowing part itself – a chine, where the typical tang part is also redesigned.
