Interior Component for Schools

This thesis addresses the issue of the current primary school environment and responds to it through the design of a product for the school environment. The reason for choosing this topic was due to the increasing voices of teachers who see children spending increased time on their phones at school over other activities. The analytical part explores this topic through the perspective of the pupils themselves as well as teachers but also ergonomists and physiotherapists. The resulting proposal draws inspiration from the evidence gathered, research on the current market and existing solutions addressing this problem in schools abroad.
