Annotation

The bachelor thesis addresses the design of a public space that is intended to be created around the Museum of Silence. This museum will be established on the current Bubny train station site and will be dedicated to the memory of the Jews who were deported from this location to concentration camps. The delineation of the designated area is based on the urban study of Holešovice – Bubny – Zátory. The area is designed to evoke the stigmatized history of the place while simultaneously creating a public space not only for the surrounding residents.
