LITOVEL - SYSTEM OF PUBLIC SPACES

The diploma thesis deals with topic of the development of the small town Litovel, which is significantly influenced by the proximity of the county town Olomouc. It presents the principles and guides on how to approach the development of the city and how to use its potential. It focuses on key areas: transport, urbanism, blue-green infrastructure, and city life. In particular, emphasis is placed on fixing the boundaries of the city and limiting the urban development further into the countryside. On the contrary, it shows the potential for development within the city. Then it specifically examines the stated principles at three localities in territorial studies and shows the practical applications of the presented solutions.
