LANDSCAPE AND URBAN CONCEPT OF THE VILLAGE BOSEŇ

The thesis deals with the landscape of the village of Bosen. The village is situated in the border of the Bohemian Paradise Protected Landscape Area, which is highly visited and the consequences of this affect the village. The thesis focuses on the inhabitants of the village and their life on the border of the protected area. The central theme of the thesis is the comfortable movement in the area, the restoration of pedestrian connections with neighbouring villages and the proposal of new stops, especially in its southern part outside the protected area. The traffic situation of the village and the connection to new developments is also addressed. Last but not least, the revitalisation of existing public spaces with a focus on the village square. The goal is to make the spaces more open, to bring the residents back to the centre of the village and to help create a more communal village life, which now takes place more on the outskirts of the village.
