Zelený Pankrác

The tram depot is inconspicuously tucked behind a row of houses lining the main road with the prison and the central courthouse. It is difficult to access, as the surroundings are dominated by the Prague main road. Despite this, the area is calm and quiet during the day. Most trams transport passengers around Prague. The depot comes to life at night when the last tram returns after a rush day. Taking advantage of the peace, I create a park with fruit trees, sports facilities, and relaxation areas on the roof. On the southern side of the depot, between the former sand towers, a community greenhouse is emerging for the residents of the neighborhood. I collect rainwater from the entire roof, which is stored in a water tank on the eastern tower. The glass is equipped with solar cells.
