INFORMATION CENTER AND LOOKOUT PORTA BOHEMICA ATZBP

I designed an extension to the tower, including a café, information center and gallery, in addition, at the top of the tower itself, a lookout point is designed in a circular concrete section. The concept of my design is that the whole building is the shadow of the tower. This is the basis of its shape and its overall tuning into black. The building is designed as a metal structure of two plates, cantilevered over the water, between which there are three cubes, the outer material of which are matte mirrors, and spaces open to nature behind a light perimeter cladding. The bottom plate, which is crossed by a cycle path, initiates a road intersected by train tracks. The top plate has an extensive walkable roof with variable use.
