Hippoterapeutic center Hořovice

The project is created as the equestrian center, primarily meant for hippotherapy but also for recreational riding in the city Hořovice. The main concept is to maintain the horizontal view of the local landscape, which was achieved by hiding all spaces below ground level. The design is inspired by geological fractures in the lithosphere and the architecture of ancient Rome. The underground space consists of a riding hall, box stalls for horses, warehouses, a saddle room, and facilities for riders, ie. living room, dressing room, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom with toilet. The paddocks are the only ones visible from the outside. All areas can be reached without barriers via ramps or corridors.
