Loukov - Regeneration and adaptation of the old rectory area

The main idea of ​​the project is to bring life into this place, to provide space for relaxation and contemplation, and to integrate this place to the village. The new function follows the history of the place. The original rectory together with the granary is transformed into a monastery. The parish receives a new administrator who takes care about spiritual life and pastorate. The area provides accommodation for pilgrims and tourists. The barn is the space for various summer activities. It connects the entire area with the village and its residents. It connects seemingly different worlds. The area follows the idea of ​​closed cloister garden. It is separated from the rest of the village by a wall. It creates a semiprivate space of the garden, which is for everyone without distinction.
