NeoBlatna

Annotation

The architectural study NeoBlatna deals with the design of the new face of the town of Blatná. The first part of the project focuses on a complex material and functional solution of urban planning in a historically significant locality. This urban design addresses key aspects and challenges of the existing urban fabric. It addresses, for example, overcoming the large barrier formed by the industrial estate that limits accessibility to the town's biggest attraction - Blatná Castle. At the same time, it uses the potential of the Lomnica River to create a promenade leading to a newly established park. The next part of the study deals with the design of three buildings in the industrial area of the fishery. A cultural centre, a market with an industrial area and a restaurant.
