Vineyard above Metuje river

The study deals with the south-western slopes near the historic core of Nové Město nad Metují. On the edge of this area, above the steep hillside, there is a former water tower, which is looking for its new function. Further away, on a gentler slope, there are the terraces of former vineyards. For me, the theme of wine heritage becomes a key element: the tower becomes a winery, the hillside becomes a wine cellar with its own production, and the entire southwest side is newly connected to a larger whole with the chateau park. All this on the slope of a majestic valley, washed by the Metují River for centuries.
