The age structure of society is changing and the number of seniors is increasing. Retirement is a difficult step and the environment as well as community can lower the impact and allow a peaceful aging. The project contains elements of a homey environment both indoors and outdoors in the form of a gable roof, which evokes the feeling of small houses from every side. The disposition is based on the concept of clusters forming smaller neighborhoods of 10 rooms each, which are oriented towards a large garden. The clusters contain common spaces centered around an outdoor atrium. The individual square rooms are modifiable, so they adapt to the patient's needs, not the other way around. The main central part with an inner atrium serves as a central square with all services.
