YACHTSMEN CABINS

To be close enough to urban life in Prague and yet far enough from it all is one of the main attractions of the project. The site place is a naturalistic retreat forming a point of encounter and experiences. The cabins are a form of short-term rental housing for lovers of sailing. Positioning of the buildings directly along and following the shore allowed for an interesting composition and height differences. That is a design that would accommodate various identities and uses. All buildings have a view of the expanse of water. The composition loses symmetry by diverging from the central axis but interconnects with the pergola and terrace levels. It is marked out in the landscape by its cladding of black charred timber planks.
