Documentation, assessment, and possible adaptation methods of windows of Modern movement architectural heritage in regard to conservation principles

The goal of this research project is to document the most commonly used window types in Czechoslovak modernist architecture during the first half of the 20th century and to assess the thermal properties of such windows. Included in the project will be an evaluation of possible methods of improvement of these properties that align with the principles of heritage conservation. The project aims to widen the theoretical basis that can be utilized by efforts for preserving historical windows in modernist buildings.
