The winner of the competition is the team that best blends affordability, consumer appeal, and design excellence with optimal energy production and maximum efficiency. The main goal of the project is applying for the Solar Decathlon 2013. The long term goal is to obtain the participation in the Solar Decathlon 2013. This is a two-year project starting in spring 2012 and ending in winter 2013. Another objective is design a preliminary study of the solar house.
