Documents to be prepared for BACHELOR WORK (BP) consultations

(Note: STUDIO WORK (AT) and DIPLOMA WORK (DP) can be reduced accordingly):

Study of the building (sketches: ground plans, sections, views)
Situation (building site, usually 1: 200-1: 500, positions of neighboring buildings, their height and depth below the ground)
Situation (wider relations, usually 1: 1000-1: 5000, terrain elevation, groundwater level, geological profile (if available))
Sketches of supposed positions of load-bearing structures (walls, columns...) in each floor (sketching paper, 1: 100, for large buildings 1: 200 is sufficient)

After the initial consultations and after clarification of the load-bearing system and construction materials, the structural design of the bachelor's thesis will be assigned. The individual assignment contains (in accordance with Annex 12, part D.1.2., Ann. 499/2006 Coll., On project documentation of buildings) three basic parts:

a) Technical report - description of the proposed structural system of the building (foundation, vertical load-bearing structures, horizontal load-bearing structures, structures connecting different levels, spatial reinforcement of the structure, description of atypical structures; values of variable, incl. climatic loads considered in the design of the load-bearing structure; list of applied documents, standards, technical regulations, etc.

b) Drawings - usually 3-4 drawings containing solutions of ceiling structures, girders, columns or pillars (eg shape of monolithic concrete structures; drawings of assemblies of prefabricated concrete structures; drawings of assemblies of metal and wooden structures, etc.) and details

c) Structural assessment - usually design and assessment of 3-4 load-bearing elements (eg ceiling slabs, girders, columns, pillars, roof trusses, etc.)
