POWER PLANT IN PŘEROV

The thesis is trying to find a new purpose for the currently unused and decaying building of the former thermal power plant on the right bank of the river Bečva in Přerov. I propose to get rid of the structures added later to the historical building and use it as a gallery with multifunctional hall and facilities for a contemporary circus. The project also cultivates the surroundings of the power plant. The newly created outdoor space rationalises the location of the building and can serve as an extension of the gallery space or for cultural events organised during the summer.
