Load-bearing Structures

Lectures consist of basic principles employed in static analysis and design of structural elements made of concrete, steel, masonry, and the design of foundations of common building structures. Presented design methods are primarily based on general principles included in international codes of practice including Eurocodes and on available software products. Explained general procedures are supplemented by practical examples using realistic data of loadings and material properties.

The minimum number of students to open the course is 5. EXCEPTION for self-paying students: if there are less than 5 students, the course will be taught in consultations.
